for pipes with the yield point Re min. 360MPa were developed. The penetrations were made with the aid of the: - 1. Basic coated electrode by the welding method 111;
- 2. Non-consumable tungsten electrode, TIG, with Argon as the inert gas; The ancillary material: wire with diameters Ø 2.4mm or Ø 3.2mm; The welding method 141;
- 3. Metallic core-wire. The welding method 136M.
The filling up and cover pass were made with rutile core wire. The welding method 136. The welding technologies are approved of by DNV. The technologies whereby penetrations are made with the help of metallic core wire (136M) and TIG (141) were applied in field production while welding the MANIFOLD and RISER BASE underwater structures of oil rigs.
