Technical capabilities

1. Pipe cutting machine (in Engine Department)
MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. has a numerically controlled machine for profile cutting of pipes at its disposal; it is of SCM 630 type, made by „Kistler” having the following features:

cutting method: acetylene – oxygen or plasmic,
cutting pipes for preparation of pipe connections at various angles,
cutting pipes with or without bevelling,
max. diameter: 630 mm,
length of the cut pipes L=12 m (for the diameter up to 540mm)

2. Circulatory washing stand (in Engine Department)
MORSKA owns two washing stands for washing engine parts and ships’ appliances. The installed washing stands are:

Circulatory washing stand – which includes a washing chamber with the volume of about 3,5 m3, assigned for immersion washing of elements with the maximum dimensions of 1550x1000x1300 mm. The circulation of the washing agent is caused by two circulatory pumps. The washing chamber may be heated up to the temperature of 70oC.
Ultrasonic washing stand – which includes a washing chamber with the volume of about 2,4m3, assigned for washing of elements with the maximum dimensions of 1300x1000x1000 mm. The washing is guaranteed by 25 ultrasonic converters with the total power of 19,4kW. The washing chamber may be heated up to the temperature of 80oC.

3. Cutting-off machines
MORSKA has two stands for cutting plates at its disposal equipped with 2 pieces of numerically controlled portal cutting-off machines for curvilinear acetylene – oxygen cutting (of YUN 3000 and YUN 3000-2 type) moving on a shared roadway with the total length of 22 m. Features of the stand:.

each cutting-off machine is equipped with 3 carriages with acetylene – oxygen blowpipes,
the possibility of cutting with simultaneous bevelling of the cut plates,
width of cut plate: up to 3 m,
a table for cut plates: 20 x 3 m (length x breadth),
thickness of cut plates 6-150 mm.

4. Tent halls:
MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. has three tent halls with double walls built on system aluminium structures with the dimensions: length – 35 m, width – 20 m, height – 9,2 m.
The halls are founded on rails, on which they can be moved by means of riding wheels system. The halls are equipped with stationary lighting and explosion-proof electrical system. Depending on the needs the halls are outfitted with movable ventilation and heating installations.
The tent halls are assigned for assembly, cleaning and painting various types of bulky structures.
Having concluded the structure building cycle inside the halls, the frontal walls of the halls are dismantled and the halls are moved on the rails beyond the structure’s contour, which enables the transport of the structure using cranes.
