QUALITY is one of the most important factors of modern company competitiveness. In the dynamically developing market economy of today nearly all organizations strive to use quality as an all-important asset in the free competition.

MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. adjusting to these requirements implemented Quality Management System as per ISO 9001 series standards into its structure, back in the 90-ties.

In December 1999 MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. as a result of positive appraisal of implemented system, performed by Germanischer Lloyd Certyfication (GLC) and Polish Register of Shipping (PRS), received a certificate formally confirming proper functioning of the quality system within the scope of: SHIP REPAIRS, ERECTING STRUCTURES INCLUDING "OFFSHORE".

Certification carried out by an independently accredited unit assures that the company is committed to constant improvement of its products quality. The continually changing market requirements and technical determinants have resulted in MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. making a number of complements to the already acquired quality system before long, by new elements concerning NATO requirements defined in the AQAP 2110 publication "NATO requirements concerning quality assurance in design, development work and production" – issued by Quality and Management Systems Institution and quality requirements relating to welding metal materials both in workshop and field conditions specified in PN EN ISO 3834-2 standard "Quality requirements relating to welding metal materials. Part 2 Complete quality requirements".

The obtained certificates refer directly to activities influencing the manufactured product or service, which are provided by MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. for its clients. The introduced and maintained systems describe the principles of control adjustment over particular operations – so as to become certain that requirements and expectations of our company’s clients are satisfied. Aside from unquestionable benefits for the company’s running, the implemented systems allow the Yard to gain prestige and credibility in the eyes of business partners.
