The range of repair services rendered by production departments of MORSKA Stocznia Remontowa S.A. The Yard has three specialized production departments:

Engine department, which carries out the following repair work:

• repair of ships’ machines and devices such as main engine and auxiliary engines and their diagnostics and adjustment
• repair and adjustment of fuel pumps using Hardrige equipment and speed governors of UG and PGA type
• complex repair of shaft lines and screw propellers and steering gears
• repair of all pipe systems and appliances aboard
• repair and manufacturing of new hydraulics installations of low and high pressure
• repair of compressed air and cooling systems
• repair of electric installations and appliances such as: motors and a.c. and d.c. generators, testing these appliances and their rewinding, balancing and measurement of insulation state
• installing and repair of radio – navigational devices
• manufacturing new parts and details and regeneration, resulting from the repair process of the devices, by means of machining such as: rolling, milling, grinding, chiselling, boring, chambering and regeneration by means of spraying.

Hull and Outfitting Department, which carries out the following repair work:

• hull work, especially: exchange of shell plating and inner bottom of the ship’s hull and cargo holds
• replacement of other elements of ship’s hull
• manufacturing new elements of steel, aluminium, and stainless steel structures
• constructing offshore structures
• carrying out locksmithing work, especially repair of hatch covers, boats’ davits, cargo winches and windlasses
• performing carpenter’s and outfitting work of compartments and cabins /insulation, boarding, furniture, upholstery/
• leak/pressure tests of tanks
• renovation of fixed pitch propellers and C.P. propellers
• cleaning, painting and repair of anchors and anchor chains

Dock and Painting Department, which carries out the following repair work:

• docking and undocking of vessels
• performing towage services
• service in the area of supplying floating equipment for repaired ships /scaffoldings, barges, pontoons etc./
• performing complete maintenance and painting work of the ships
• maintenance and painting work inside ballast tanks /sandblasting, painting/
• sandblasting and maintenance of steel structures
• carrying out crane services for ships and steel structures
• technical provision for repair purposes /oxygen, acetylene, compressed air, welding resistors, fans, lighting, current, process steam/ and maintenance equipment /sand spreaders, air conditioners, sand suction devices/
• operating and current disposal of horizontal and vertical transport
