Hiload Project
In May 2007 MSR SA once again signed a contract with Aibel AS Company consisting in fabricating steel structures for the Hiload Project. The extent of work covers sections 200 and 210 with the total weight of 450 tons of structure along with equipping jobs and painting the structure as well as manufacturing aluminium sections 600 and 700; about 35 tons with equipment in total. The fabricated structures constitute significant sections of the Hiload device, which is a prototype floating device enabling safe transport of petroleum and gas from the drilling platforms or FPSO ships to tankers. It is among technological innovations on the offshore market. The main client for this contract is Remora ASA Company. The project is due for completion on February 2008.
