H6e Project
Carrying on the cooperation with the client Aker Kvaerner Stord AS in September 2006 MSR SA began completing H6e contracts consisting in manufacturing about 1800 tons of structures constituting a part of two largest drilling platforms worldwide, named Alfa and Beta at present, for the main client – Aker Drilling Company. The extent of work covers about 800 steel and aluminium structures along with their painting. In this project, technologies that allow connecting metal gratings with the FRP plastic as well as assembling aluminium hand-rails pursuant to NORSOK and DNV standards were applied for the first time. During the completion of the contract the scope was extended by about 700 tons of structures. The contract is due for completion on May 2008.
