Design Office
Our Construction-Technological Office develops: - Designs of modernisation and conversion of ships (hull elongations – inserts; reconstruction of bows and sterns; reconstruction of superstructures and compartments; modernisation in connection with changes of intended purposes of ships and the like);
- Modernisation of engine rooms;
- Workshop documentation of steel and aluminium structures type offshore;
- Repair documentation of ships (with respect to structures and mechanical parts and assemblies);
- Onshore steel structures (e.g. the „HVIDOVRE” bridge, Norway);
- Plans of fire protection and deployment of life-saving equipment in compliance with SOLAS;
- Modernisation of the available sanitation systems in sea-going and inland navigation ships aimed at protection of the marine environment in compliance with the Mariol Convention;
- P&D marine diagrams;
- Preparation of codes for automatic nesting and numerical cutting of steel plate elements;
- Inclination tests of water crafts upon their conversions;
- Hydrostatic computations for ships;
- The implementation of complex welding techniques and of welding instructions (welding of structural steels and Al alloys);
- The development of repair technologies, conversion technologies; cost calculations;
- The development of technologies with respect to shaft line alignment, foundations for machinery and equipment.
The documentations are developed by means of the CAD/CAM: - AutoCAD 2000, 2004;
- Autoship;
- AutoNest;
- NC Polaris;
- Profil;
- Microstation.
The Office is furnished with modern computer hardware (the latest networked PCs with the Pentium inside, 19” monitors) as well as: - A laser plotter – (Oce Plot 7400) for paper sizes A4 through A0;
- A colour plotter (Summagraphics Hi-Plot 7200) - for paper sizes A4 through A0;
- A B&W scanner (Oce Scan Station 7400) - for paper sizes A4 through A0;
- Photocopiers / printers (Lanier 5235 and OCE) - for paper sizes A5 through A0.
